Chasing Your Artistic Dreams

I've been sitting on a juicy secret for months now, and I’m excited to finally share it.

I’ve been published in another issue of Somerset Studio—back-to-back issues, folks!! The newest issue will release in just a couple days on May 1st. If you missed the last one you can read all about it in my post How I Got Published in Somerset Studio.

Somerset Studio is known for its celebration of mixed media and artistic expression, and being featured again is a dream come true. Imagine my surprise when I cracked open the magazine to find my work rubbing elbows with the likes of the incredible Jenny Grant! What an honor!!!

Every piece in this issue is a testament to the vibrant creativity and boundless imagination that define the world of mixed media art. It's incredibly rewarding to see how my work resonates with others and adds to the rich tapestry of artistic voices.

I'm super grateful for this awesome community of artists and readers who continue to inspire and support each other. The feedback and encouragement, fuel my passion. As I flip through the pages, I'm reminded of the power of art to connect us, tell stories, and evoke emotions that words alone can't always capture.

A Quick Recap

I became obsessed with Stampington and Company magazines in 2015 when I discovered my first issue of GreenCraft. I was enchanted by the creative projects and breathtaking photographs! That’s when I knew I had to be a part of their magazines. It's been my dream to share my passions and art with the world through their beautiful publications ever since.

With a bit of dedication and a dash of perseverance, I announced my debut in their GreenCraft Autumn 2018 issue, followed by an encore in the GreenCraft Summer 2021 issue, an appearance in the Belle Armoire Jewelry Spring 2023 issue and most recently my debut in Somerset Studio just this February! Each one has been an amazing achievement for me.

But my journey isn’t just about me, it’s also about you. Yes, I love sharing my artwork, but I LOVE inspiring others, like you, to pursue a life of creativity and to chase your dreams and passions without fear or guilt. Whether that’s through my art or my teaching.
