If you’ve found your way here, chances are you’re craving more creative freedom, confidence, and room to explore without pressure or perfection.
I believe creativity isn’t about talent or getting it “right.”
It’s about showing up, trying things, and trusting yourself along the way.
I offer a few simple, welcoming ways to create together- whether you’re just beginning or returning to art after a long pause.
Here’s how we can work together right now.
How to Work With Me
In-Person Mixed Media Workshops
Build confidence. Learn techniques. Leave with a finished piece.
My in-person workshops are rooted in the same philosophy you’ll see throughout my work:
brave exploration over perfection.
Each month, I offer two ways to create in person:
Brave Layers: Foundations Workshops
These are my core, beginner-friendly mixed media workshops.
We focus on foundational techniques like layering, mark-making, texture, and intuitive decision-making while creating a single finished art piece. I guide the process step-by-step, while encouraging personal style, curiosity, and creative choice.
These workshops are designed to feel welcoming for beginners without limiting more experienced creatives.
Mini Mixed Media Workshops
Alongside Brave Layers, I also offer rotating monthly workshops that explore different themes, techniques, or creative prompts.
These workshops build on the same foundations while offering something a little different each month — perfect if you enjoy variety, quick projects, or coming back to try something new.
These workshops are a great fit if you want to:
Explore mixed media in a supportive, judgment-free space
Feel more confident starting and finishing a piece
Explore creatively without pressure
Try something new, even if you don’t feel “artistic”
No experience required. Curiosity is always enough.
Limited-Edition Creative Experiences
Small, seasonal workshops offered a few times a year.
Once or twice a year, I host special mixed media workshops in beautiful outdoor settings — like flower farms, lakeside parks, and other nature-inspired spaces.
These experiences are intentionally small (typically 10–12 participants) so I can offer more personal guidance and create a relaxed, connected atmosphere.
Because space is limited, these workshops are usually announced first- and sometimes only- through my mailing list.
Dates and locations vary, and these offerings are only available occasionally throughout the year.
Creative exploration, on your schedule.
My e-workshops offer a deeper look at mixed media techniques, layering, and creative courage- all at your own pace.
These experiences are meant to support you in:
Building confidence in your creative process
Exploring techniques step-by-step
Letting go of rules and expectations
Developing trust in your own artistic voice
You can revisit lessons anytime and create in a way that fits your life, energy, and rhythm.
Online Workshops
A gentle place to begin.
If you’re just starting out- or simply looking for inspiration- I offer free creative resources to help you ease in without pressure.
These are designed to:
Spark curiosity
Encourage playful exploration
Help you start where you are
Remind you that creativity doesn’t need permission
Free Creative Resources
The Brave Creatives Community
Create alongside others who get it.
I host a free online community for women who want to explore creativity with courage, curiosity, and support.
Inside the Brave Creatives community, you’ll find:
Creative prompts and inspiration
Technique ideas and process sharing
Encouragement to show up as you are
A welcoming, judgment-free space
Please note: Membership questions are required for approval so we can keep this a supportive, intentional space
If you’re new here, a simple place to begin is:
Start with a free resource
Join an in-person or online workshop
Keep exploring from there
There’s no right order — just the path that feels supportive to you right now.
If you’re ready to create, I’d love to create with you.
