My local, in-person workshops are designed to give you space to explore, play, and reconnect with your creativity—without pressure or perfection. Through bold color, beautiful collage, and fearless mixed media exploration, I’ll guide you step-by-step.
Whether you're planning a girls’ night, hosting a group, or just want to try something new, I offer a variety of mixed media workshops that are approachable, engaging, and genuinely fun. No “art background” required—just a little courage and a willingness to show up.

Mini Mixed Media Workshops
Paint + Play: Mini Abstracts
In this beginner-friendly workshop, we’ll play with color, texture, and simple marks as you create a set of four mini abstract pieces. This workshop is all about loosening up, trying something new, and enjoying the process—no pressure, just play. Perfect for beginners or anyone looking to reconnect with their creativity in a relaxed, encouraging space.
Mini Word Art
In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll create a set of three 3"x3" mixed media pieces using simple layering techniques and meaningful words.
We’ll build texture and depth, then bring it all together with words that feel personal to you. . Perfect for beginners!
Mixed Media Mini Journal
In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll customize the cover of your own mini journal using paint, collage, and simple mixed media techniques & create a surprise bonus project.
We’ll layer color and play with marks to create a cover that feels personal and uniquely yours. No experience needed—just come ready to explore and have fun.
Handmade Mini Journal
In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll create your own mini journal from a single sheet of paper—no experience needed.
We’ll fold, layer, and decorate as we build a small journal using paint, collage, and simple mixed media techniques. You’ll leave with a handmade journal you can continue to fill, explore, and make your own.

In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll create a 5x7 mixed media art piece.
We’ll build up the background with color and texture, then bring it to life with bold florals and expressive details. No experience needed—just come ready to explore, experiment, and have fun.
Mixed Media Sticker Play
In this playful, beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll create your own custom sticker sheets using simple mixed media techniques.
We’ll layer, add marks, and explore different ways to build fun, expressive designs across your sticker sheets.
Mixed Media Art Deck
Create your own 5-piece mixed media art deck in this fun, beginner-friendly workshop designed to spark creativity and quiet perfectionism.
You’ll paint your own text paper, choose meaningful words, and build a set of layered, expressive art cards you can return to anytime you need inspiration.
Butterfly Mixed Media Art Set

If you’ve ever looked at a blank page and thought, “I don’t even know where to start,” this workshop is for you.
We’ll explore a simple, approachable process for building layered mixed media art. You’ll learn how to begin without fear, add collage and paint layers, experiment with marks, and bring your page together with a focal point.
No experience required—just curiosity and a willingness to play.
Brave Texture: Building Depth & Interest
If you’ve ever wondered how artists create those rich, layered surfaces in mixed media artwork, this workshop will show you how.
You’ll explore simple techniques for adding dimension to your art using texture paste, stencils, collage, and layered paint. You’ll create a finished mixed media artwork on a wood panel while learning how to build depth and highlight texture.
No experience required—just curiosity and a willingness to experiment.
Brave Marks: Personal Style & Expressive Marks
If you’ve ever wondered how artists develop their own unique style, the answer often begins with mark making.
You’ll explore simple techniques for adding expressive marks, patterns, and movement to mixed media artwork. You’ll create a finished mixed media panel while experimenting with different tools and discovering marks that feel natural to you.
No drawing experience required—just curiosity and a willingness to play.
About my Workshops
My workshops are designed to be fun, welcoming, and easy to jump into, whether you're brand new to mixed media or just looking for a creative night out.
I guide each group step-by-step through the process while still leaving plenty of room for personal expression, so no two projects ever turn out the same.
In each workshop, you can expect:
