Behind the Scenes: Rebuilding the Studio

For all you newbies joining my journey, you may not know that we lost everything in the devasting 2020 Holiday Farm Fire, including my beautiful art studio. The recovery journey? Let’s just say it’s been a nerve-racking roller coaster. But hey, after a patience-testing four years, our new home is finally almost finished.

My new art studio is a canvas of possibilities. It's a place where inspiration thrives, and I’ve been hustling to create my dream space. Beautiful hand-painted flowers now grace the walls of my “office”, rainbows dance across the space as sunlight streams through the large windows and the ceiling and baseboards flaunt my favorite color: a fabulous shade of teal!

Every nook and cranny of the studio will be a delightful explosion of color and happiness curated to spark creativity. Imagine a cozy corner with a vibrant armchair, perfect for sketching or sipping tea while dreaming up my next art piece. I’m dreaming of large, handmade tables along the windows for a perfect river view where I can indulge in exploring new techniques or playing with old favorites. Shelves will be overflowing with art books, a treasure trove of supplies, and stunning pieces from friends and artists from every corner of the globe!
